Borussia Dortmund took the lead just five minutes later as Thorgan Hazard scored, with an assist by Erling Håland.
Two minutes later, it was Erling Håland who scored, thus ensuring that the team increased the lead to 3-1.
With more than 30 minutes on the clock, Borussia Dortmund’s Giovanni Reyna scored, from a pass from Erling Håland, and increased their lead.
In the 70th minute, Erling Håland scored, with an assist by Marco Reus, to increase the lead for Borussia Dortmund.
The goal that reduced the score to 5-2 came right at the end of the game, when Jens Hauge scored a goal for Eintracht Frankfurt, with an assist by Ragnar Ache. But Eintracht Frankfurt ran out of steam. This brought the final score to 5-2.
In the next round on Saturday, Dortmund face Freiburg away at Schwarzwald-Stadion, while Frankfurt host Augsburg.
