With the Premier League fully underway again after what seemed to be the most prolonged pre-season in history due to the global pandemic caused by Covid-19, we are starting to get a feel for how the Premier League is going to go this season. Leicester has started the season very well this year with them currently 2nd in the league only to current champions Liverpool after last night’s electric win against Leeds away at Elland Road. Rodgers will be thrilled with the way his team has started to bounce back this season, especially with the number of first XI players that they have out injured. Players like Ricardo Pereria, Caglar Soyuncu and James Maddison who are all key players for the foxes have been missing since the start of the season and if you include Jonny Evans and Wilfred Ndidi into this list who have been injured during this year, the Foxes have done very well to get where they are today with a limited squad.
